PHOTOGRAPHY// Abhinav Kodam

Stepping into the National Gallery of Victoria with Abhinav and his camera on a rainy day in Melbourne left us utterly confused & breathtakingly inspired. While the initial purpose of being at NGV was to keep ourselves dry till the rains stopped to continue our planned shoot; what unfolded in the following three hours was unanticipated.

As we walked about the gallery, awestruck and all, we came to a mutual decision that this is where we're shooting! Every nook and corner emanated art which created perfect frames for our shoot. NGV being a massive gallery gave us so many pictures by the end of our shoot that it became difficult to choose which ones to put and which to miss. I squeezed in all that I could, or as one would say, the creme de la creme; just so you can see what we felt.

Life as we know it is unexpected, with new twists at every turn, but it is during these times that something exciting is produced.

"The principles of true art is not to portray, but to evoke"
-Jerzy Kosinski

Thank you National Gallery of Victoria, for giving us the feels.
